Niklas Eriksson

Civilian trained pilot and flight instructor with a great passion for flight and veteran aircraft. Niklas was one of the initiators of TEAM 50 when the group was formed in 2012.
He lacks background from the Air Force but for a few years of purposeful training managed to get together around 500 hours of qualified flying time in the SAAB Safir together with the rest of the team.
He flew his first solo show in advanced flight in 2012 and began to fly formation in first and third position in 2013.
From 2014 Niklas is team leader for TEAM 50 and normally flies in position 1 of the group's various programs.
Niklas also flies solo show as a stand-in for Alf Ingesson Thoor when Alf is unable to attend. Niklas passion for flying and his great enthusiasm for joining forces with the other group members make him a great fit in the role of team leader.
He is a professional engineer in computer and electronics and runs an IT company.

When Magnus does not train aerobatics flight students, flies with TEAM 50 or maintaining some airplanes, he sometimes participates in advanced flight competitions.
The best result so far is an honorable World Champion title in the Vintage AerobaticWorld Championship.
Magnus is the group's only real world champion!

He is extremely anxious to live up to the expectations placed on him and he does so with great humility towards everyone.
Tord is the coolest aviator on the team!

Alf Ingesson Thoor.jpg

Alf Ingesson toor

Alf is second to none one of the most experienced airshow pilot in TEAM 50.

He does not really need any closer presentation he both sees and hears on the airshows and even occasionally in other media contexts!

He has also written two really excellent books about himself and events in the Air Force that are highly recommended!

He began his career in the Swedish Air Force at the age of 17 and over time has managed to collect about 10,000 flight hours in aircraft such as SAAB 91 Safir (SK 50), SAAB 105 (SK 60),SAAB 32 Lansen (A 32 / J 32 ), SAAB 37 Viggen (AJ 37), North American Harvard (SK 16) and Scottish Aviation Bulldog (SK 61).

Alf's military flying career, combined with his experience as a pilot, is of great benefit to the entire team where he usually flies as No5.

He also flies a very nice and appreciated solo program where he shows what can be done with Safir in the air.Alf is a true aviation enthusiast with a lot of self-distance and wonderful sense of humor.

Tobias Andersson

Tobias Andersson is the group's "youngest" pilot.

Just like Niklas Eriksson and Magnus Borg, Tobias lacks pilot background from the Air Force.

However, like Magnus Borg, he has been training purposefully in recent years with the team in order to eventually start flying at airshows.

Tobia's keen interest in engines and mechanics combined with his deep technical skills makes him very appreciated within the team.

He never hesitates when it comes to setting up and solve a technical problem. He always carries out his work with great care.

In addition to flying, Tobias also has a passionate interest in skiing, sports cars and motorcycles.

Tobias is the team joker who can do most things without even wanting to admit it!
